While Iggy's foster mom worked, he and his doggie foster sister would spend their days at a Hartland dog daycare. He receives lots of doggie socialization while there. We think part of the difficulty he had with being crated was he was then alone. He has always been with another dog since arriving and has not had any problems being alone while at home with his doggie sister. Because of this Lori suggests he go to a home that has another dog. UPDATE: Iggy's foster mom has left him alone without another dog up to 8 hours and has not had a problem. He was not crated during his time alone.
