These are the pictures sent to us from Alabama of Brooklyn and Gemma. They both came from the same person. A independent rescuer who frequents the local shelter will "rescue" dogs bringing them to her home looking for homes and rescues to take them. These southern shelters are kill shelters and the dogs do not have much time there. When Fluffy Dog Rescue was contacted, the woman had 30 dogs at her home, Fluffy Dog took 11 of them, mostly poodles and poodle mixes. Gemma had come from a backyard breeder of teacup poodles. The dogs were kept in her backyard and were a mess. The adult dogs were shaved. Surprisingly, all the poodles were friendly and enjoyed attention.
